Action Plan for the Art Challenge- Unit 1

As I am a producer on this short, I decided to look into producers a bit more. I am probably going to try and do this in two hour chunks. These are my notes on what to do.

The Arts Challenge
To get a better idea of what producers do, I am going to research them. First I will look at them in different disciples, Film, Theater and Music. I will then review the top film producers in different places to learn more about how they got to become producers and what they do.

And, after careful consideration this is my time scale:

2 hrs- The differences between a Film director and a Film producer

2 hrs- The differences between a Theater director and a Theater producer

2 hrs- The differences between a Music director and a Music producer

1 hr- Write an evaluation on how the producers in each of those fields are different from each other

2 hrs-Top 10 producers worldwide

2 hrs- Top 10 producers in the UK

2 hrs- Look into 2 further

I hope to carry out this plan over 2 weeks, doing 2 hours for three days over the weeks.
I will record my progress in my notebook, which I will publish pictures of, and by doing blog posts/ mini essays on my findings after each session of research.
I will collect the evidence in my note book and on this blog.
I will review the challenge after each blog post and half way through the research. Also I will review it at the end.
Target
I will have a good overall knowledge of what a producer does  in three different areas as well as the different ways of becoming one in film.

I may or may not get side tracked. If I do I will edit my plan and show you how. After each post about each slot I will say how closely I stuck to this target.
